Just a quick question: Do any of you play on gaming consoles such as Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch, DS, … ?

    If so, which ones?

And how excited would you be if you could use RPG Playground on any of them? I really mean making games on the gaming console itself using the gamepad (should be possible)

That would be SO awesome!! I’ve got a 3ds/2ds and a playstation… The option to create games on consoles is somewhat of a revolution in that metier and a dream for game makers (at least for me ^^)! I would appreciate this very much!!

I just came across RPG Maker Fes for the 3DS, which actually seems to be doing such a thing. Although it seems a bit clunky to make games.

You can go use unity3d(on pc) to make PS VITA and PS3 games. I haven’t used it in a long time so I don’t know what you can do now, but I *think* you can make gba games. This is just files and formats. Getting them onto a dixc/cartridge or even encrypting them, BUT unity should encrypt it while it is converting when you finalize the project.  https://store.unity.com/

If I recall correctly though. If you have everything ready, then you can send the files to sonys developer thing on their website.

Unity 3D can indeed do that, but it’s definitely not easy:

    1. You need to be able to program to use Unity 3D
    2. Making an RPG is a big challenge, even for someone with experience in programming
    3. You need to have a registered company to be able to go on the Nintendo or Sony platforms (XBox offers XBox Live Creators programs that makes this easier)

RPG Playground on a console would basically mean that you can easily make your own game on there, and share it with others on that platform.
